Note: Release Date on a supervised record is retrospective; it is not the projected date for a person still confined.
Pennsylvania DOC Parole and Discharge
Parole is conditional release from state confinement before the maximum sentence ends. The Pennsylvania Parole Board decides whether an eligible person may be paroled, while DOC administers field supervision. Pennsylvania DOC Sentence Release Records
Pennsylvania generally imposes minimum and maximum terms under 42 Pa.C.S. § 9756. The minimum is commonly the first ordinary parole-eligibility point, not an automatic release date. Use the district office displayed on the actual supervised-person record for field-supervision questions.
Do not ask DOC to predict a release or interpret a sentence in place of the underlying record. Request the calculation itself. If the public locator has no result after a credible state history, include the known institution or approximate custody dates so the agency can identify the records. Final discharge, an alias, or a display limit can explain absence.

Warren State Release Verification Chain
